Our Story
After graduating from Colorado College with degrees in film, Josh Fairmont and Oliver Smith founded Caution Media, a production company driven by a shared passion for mountains, movement, and meaningful storytelling. They capture the essence of outdoor culture through authentic, cinematic visuals that highlight real people and raw experiences.
Caution Media has created work for Ikon Pass, Red Bull, Db, Head, Blizzard/Tecnica, and other leading ski brands, as well as an award-winning documentary on Icelandic sheep farmers. We strive to tell stories that inspire adventure and strengthen our connection to the places we love.
